The Credit Union exists to serve the financial needs of the members. To do this, it must continually evaluate what exactly the member’s needs are and how those needs can be efficiently provided.

The Mission of the Galveston School Employees Federal Credit Union is as follows:

1. To maintain financial stability while providing financial services to the members
2. To provide a competitive rate on loans and the highest competitive rate on savings
3. To provide services in an efficient, convenient and friendly manner
4. To promote thrift among members
5. To promote the credit union movement through civic and community involvement
